Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith. We usually run one or two courses each year; each course takes place over six weeks. There's a link at the bottom of this page to let us know you're interested in the next one (or just click here).

Who's it for?

Alpha is for anyone who's curious. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. We're also able to provide a BSL interpreter.

How does it work?

Alpha takes place across six Thursday evenings and one away-day (usually a Saturday at the end of the six weeks). Each session runs for ninety minutes - we meet, watch a short film together, and discuss it. That's it. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.

How much is it?

There is no charge. At any point, if you think Alpha isn't for you, that's not a problem. There's no pressure and no unwanted follow up.
