Mobility

We have level (or sloping) access to all parts of the church building.

 

Main Church Space

The main church space can be reached via a sloped pathway to the right of the front steps, which leads to the side door. There is a signboard on the front doors that indicates whether the side door is open or not - it's always open before, during and after the service on a Sunday, and will usually be open during any other events we run in the main space.

The side door opens into a small lobby, from which you can access the main church space (on the left), the Agape Room (straight ahead) and an accessible toilet (on the right).

Shalom and Agape Rooms

The Shalom and Agape rooms form the lower part of the West Wing. They can be reached via Belle Court, the footpath immediately to the left of the church. Partway up the slope is a grey wooden gate which leads into a small courtyard and the lower West Wing door. There is a slight step as you come through the door. 

From here, you can access the Shalom Room (straight ahead), the Agape Room (down a slope to the right), and an accessible toilet (to the left).

Karis Hall

The Karis Hall forms the upper part of the West Wing. It can be reached via Belle Court, the footpath immediately to the left of the church. Partway up the slope (further on from the grey gate) is a black metal gate which leads onto a sloping path to the Karis Hall door. (There is additional access across the back of the Karis Hall, following the path to a patio and the second door. However, this door is used less, and may not be accessible if the garden gate is closed.)

The door leads directly into the Karis Hall, and also provides access to the balcony of the main church space (to the right) and an accessible toilet (to the left).

British Sign Language (and sign-supported English)

We offer signed worship during our 10.30am service, and a BSL/SSE-interpreted sermon one Sunday each month (usually the first Sunday). Our BSL team (qualified BSL level 3 and 2) is small but flexible, and if you're able to let us know in advance that you'll be joining us on a particular Sunday, we'll aim to be available.

We are also able to offer BSL/SSE at some of our other events. This is usually by request, so please do ask - you can contact us here.
